October 16         OPEN
November 6       OPEN

ATTENTION: The CSRS and FERS retirement planning seminars will be combined for the balance of CY2018 and into 2019.  Low enrollment of recent seminars suggests that federal employees in the Civil Service Retirement System are mostly retired. If you are interested in informatin on CSRS, please enroll in any of the combined seminars, being sure to select the correct registration type, so that we can order enough system-specific handbooks for your use.

Seminars meet between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm at the
Gus Solomon Court House Room 101 (Lobby)

620 SW Main
Portland, OR 97205
unless otherwise indicated by BOLD)

If you are unable to attend one of our FERS/CSRS Retirement Planning Seminars, you may find some preliminary information on this Office of Personnel Management video titled "Your Federal Retirement Annuity". Once in YouTube, you will find several other possibly helpful videos on FERS, CSRS, TSP, and more.

Seminar Flyer

Business coach, author, and professional speaker Ken Lodi will present three of his most popular and rewarding workshops for federal employees in our area in September 2018.

  • September 17: The Bamboo Principle (8:30 AM-4:00 PM)

o   The Bamboo Principle shares the habits and tactics that distinguish truly productive people from those who merely possess talent, and provides you with a series of activities to boost your productivity.

  • September 18: Front and Center (8:30 AM-4:00 PM)

o   Front and Center addresses the psychology and methods of effective communication, which are critical in meetings, asking for a promotion, selling an idea, or seeking buy-in from your team.

  • September 19: Performance Coaching and Mentoring (8:30 AM-12:30 PM)

o   Coaching and Mentoring debunks many of the myths and misconceptions about coaching and replaces them with realities around individual and team development.
